Mercedes Mac fell for a scam. That beach motel was nowhere close to the beach. Beach is just a name they said. In fact it was in a really bad neighborhood. The neighborhood was so bad that the police came when she was sitting depressed on the side walk. But the police officer was sort nice. He didn’t want to arrest her. He felt her pain.
